Course Description
Quality managers in all the different types of conformity assessment bodies (CABs) cannot do it all on their own. This includes those working in laboratories, inspection bodies, product certification bodies, proficiency testing providers and reference material producers. A CAB internal audit program is not a quality-only activity. It is an operational activity as important as marketing and sales. Internal audit is the best tool a CAB can use to determine the health of the quality system - and its ability to support the production of technically valid results in all these disciplines.
Motivate CAB staff to participate in the internal audit process and learn how to plan and conduct internal audits within the CAB.
This 2-day Training Course examines auditing principles and techniques and facilitates the practice of the required skills. It is based on the internationally recognized approaches to conducting conformant internal audits. The techniques learned promote the involvement of CAB personnel as auditors and auditees. The course includes easy-to-implement methods for continual improvement, facilitating the CAB's preparing for external assessments.
