Course Description
Learn about the interpretations used in the formal recognition of national laboratory accreditation systems from a qualified international peer body evaluator. Examine the underlying concepts and relationships with international recognition schemes to ensure "equivalence" of accreditations.
This 1-day training course can either be the third day at the end of the 2-day Understanding ISO/IEC 17011 course or it can be delivered separately, but particpants should already be familiar with ISO/IEC 17011 and the operation of accreditation bodies.
This course is an all-out full court press on interpreting the requirements of the standard based on real-life international peer evaluations. It contains extensive reference to international interpretation and implementation guidance documents which are used by accreditation bodies around the world.
